Trap & Paint stirs student's creativity
Last week, dozens of students participated in Trap & Paint, an interactive program hosted by the Frank W. Hale Jr. Black Cultural Center. Students were led in the demonstration by renown mixed-media artist Duarte Brown. Through painting, students were able to express their creativity to the sounds of today's best trap music mix, and create a painting that they could take home with them.

Young Scholar Alanna Strickland: Genocide and Its Aftermath in Rwanda
A first-generation college student, ODI Scholar and international studies major, Alanna Strickland studied abroad on the Genocide and Its Aftermath in Rwanda program in summer 2022 with support from The Boshara-Iannotti Family Scholarship for Young Scholars Studying Abroad and the Keith and Linda Monda International Experiences Scholarship.
