Hitting the books can be fun for the whole family at the new Family Zone located on the first floor of Thompson Library.
The welcoming space for families gives parents a designated area to study and access library resources with their children. Born from a partnership between the ACCESS Collaborative Program and University Libraries, the new spot will be a home run with parents predicted ACCESS Director Traci Lewis. “I'm thrilled we can offer this new space to parents who need a comfortable spot to study while keeping an eye on their kiddos,” said Lewis. “Parents are students too, and we need to do everything we can to support them. This space lets them know that we see and welcome not only them, but their children as well!”
Overseen by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the ACCESS Collaborative is an academic and social support program to assist parents who are pursuing a college education at The Ohio State University.
