This year, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion will again be sponsoring 100 ODI Scholars and university faculty and staff for the Jesse Owens 5K & 1 Mile. Please see below for instructions on how to register so that registration fees will be automatically comped at the checkout stage.

Register now

• On the registration page, you will first see “Who are you registering?”  Click the arrow on the right hand side of the field to select your answer, which is likely “Me”
• Fill out the basic registration information, including creating a password
• At the bottom of this first page, choose your event
• Click “Continue”
• Scroll through the first waiver (USATF) and enter your initials as requested
• Scroll through the second waiver (our event) and enter your initials as requested
• Click “Continue”
• Enter all requested information (shirt size, estimated finish time, emergency contact, etc.) on the next page
• Click “Continue”
• Make a donation or click “Continue” on the Children’s Champions page
• Choose any additional items (medal engraving or race day packet pickup) or click “Continue”
• Choose any merchandise or click “Continue”
• You are now at the “Payment Information” screen
  • In the “Purchase Summary” column on the right, you will see a box called “Coupon Code”
  • Enter this code: ODI-JO5K-100
  • Click “Apply”
• Your price will now be $0 unless you made a donation
• Click “Complete Registration”
