What was your path to graduation at The Ohio State University?
I graduated from the public policy and management program for working adults from the Glenn School. The Fisher College also has a working MBA degree, but public policy sounded so much more interesting to me.
Why do you support the Office of Diversity and Inclusion?
I've had the opportunity through work to cover a few events that ODI has put on such as Young Scholars Program Signing Day. I've never been in a room where there was so much pride in one place. I come from a family who thinks that education is the answer and to think of people who don't have that opportunity is just heartbreaking.
What do you do now?
I started off working for Ohio State News, and now I work for Now At Ohio State (podcast) and the Ohio State Alumni Magazine.
What is your advice for current students?
You know yourself better than anyone else knows you. You know your strengths. You are the expert on you.
