ODI staff honored with annual award

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is pleased to honor ODI staff members Audrey Howard and Charity Butler with 2024 Rose Wilson-Hill Staff of the Year Award.

Charity Butler works in the Morrill Scholarship Program (MSP) as the program manager for the Morrill Scholars Learning Community (MSLC). She offers regular success coaching sessions with MSLC students, building strong relationships with her students. She consistently demonstrates remarkable dedication, professionalism and a positive attitude. Charity is an exceptional mentor who effortless balances her schedule with unwavering dedication for her students.

ODI's Office Manager and Assistant to the Assistant and Associate Vice Provost, Audrey Howard consistently demonstrates a remarkable ability to take on any taskwith steadfast commitment and enthusiasm. Her ability to tackle challenges head-on and deliver exceptional results makes her a true asset to ODI. Never one to turn away a request for help, Audrey either has the answer at hand, or she will find the answer some other way.

The award is named for Ms. Rose Wilson-Hill, who dedicated more than 50 years of her career to ODI before retiring. In honor of her legacy of service, we award two ODI staff members for their exceptional accomplishments and leadership. Nominees must have worked at ODI for at least two years and exemplify Ohio State's Shared Values, including Excellence and Impact. Honorees must meet one of these requirements: perform beyond their assigned duties, work across units and constituents, or develop creative solutions to problems that make their units more effective and efficient.
