What was your path to graduation at The Ohio State University?

I began my academic journey with a major in biology, pre-med, with aspirations of becoming Dr. Hope. However, I discovered other passions after gaining hands-on experience as a medical intern during my first year. This realization led me to transition to psychology. With a long-standing desire to be a counselor and having naturally played the role of advice-giver and listener to family and friends, my interest and passion for psychology grew further through engaging in research and participating in extracurricular activities.

Why do you support the Office of Diversity and Inclusion?

My involvement in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, previously known as the Office of Minority Affairs, provided valuable mentoring opportunities and networking experiences. These activities not only contributed to making Ohio State feel like home but also exposed me to the wealth of resources available.

What do you do now?

I am a marketing project manager at Leaderpromos Marketing Agency. Columbus is a little big city, so I am stepping outside of my comfort zone, exploring new programs in Columbus, and immersing myself in traveling experiences.

What is your advice for current students?

Recognizing the importance of networking and building relationships beyond professors, mentors, and peers is a valuable skill that can significantly impact your professional career.
