Hana Aboma and Michael Guzman-Martinez, both James L. Moore III Scholars, were among 37 students nationwide selected to attend the 16th Annual KeyBank and Fisher College of Business Undergraduate Leadership and Creativity Symposium, scheduled to take place September 28 - October 1, 2023, on The Ohio State University campus.
Each participating university had the opportunity to nominate up to four ethnically under-represented students whose GPA is at least above 3.0, with preferences given to a GPA over 3.4. Special consideration was given to students who have student organization executive board experience.
Through the Symposium, Fisher College of Business and KeyBank provides undergraduate business and engineering junior and senior students with a three-day intensive camp on leadership, creativity, product innovation, spreadsheet management, entrepreneurial thinking, persuasive communication, and the art of negotiation.
The three-day event provides a competitive forum for skill building in the following areas:
- Leadership training
- Creativity and the power of creative thinking
- Product innovation and new product development
- Spreadsheet management and analysis
- Entrepreneurial theory and practice
- Persuasive communication and the art of negotiation
Congratulations to Hana and Michael!
