Students were welcomed back with open arms Friday as the Hale Center hosted its annual Family Affair and Reunion to kick off the school year. Students mingled near Hale Hall as they checked out tables dedicated to student organizations, programs and services geared toward Black-identifying students. As some visitors munched on catered food, others tried their hand at games including Double Dutch, jumbo Connect Four, doing the limbo, and cornhole. Capping the evening was a step show featuring the "Divine Nine" Black Greek organizations at the National Pan-Hellenic Council Plaza just north of Hale Hall.
