The National Conference on Diversity, Race and Learning (NCDRL) is The Ohio State University's most comprehensive conference on matters of diversity, cultural inclusion and acceptance. Whether you're interested in exploring the value of diversity in education or corporate spaces, looking for new and inventive ways to support diverse students throughout their collegiate experience, or seeking ways to collaborate with other professionals in the field, this conference offers a multi-leveled examination of diversity and its implementation within various institutions.

You should attend the National Conference on Diversity, Race and Learning if you are interested in:

  • Gaining a better understanding of developments in diversity, equity and inclusion in education, corporate settings, public service arenas and the larger community throughout the social landscape.

NCDRL Community Agreement

The National Conference on Diversity, Race and Learning (NCDRL) is committed to providing all participants with the opportunity to benefit equitably from its events and activities. All attendees — including all speakers, vendors, media representatives, exhibitors, sponsors, students, staff and volunteers — are expected to follow the community agreement as outlined below:

  • Respectful engagement. Promote mutual respect and understanding by acknowledging other perspectives, constructively confronting differences and actively listening.
  • Challenge by choice. Learning happens outside of our comfort zones; however, the choice to engage in discussion and offer perspective is solely up to each individual.
  • Understand that achieving diversity, equity and inclusion is a continuous process. Seek to maintain the highest standards of ethics, transparency and personal accountability.
