The annual spring leadership retreat serves as an educational, fun-filled weekend for attendees to gain leadership skills, make connections and enjoy dynamic, interactive sessions. LIWOC participants must attend all leadership sessions to qualify for the Spring Retreat.
This retreat is free for undergraduate and graduate/professional students. Registration covers food, lodging and transportation.
Retreat Planning Committee
As a committee member, you’ll gain invaluable experience in event planning, logistics, and public speaking, marketing and social media. By brainstorming themes, identifying workshop topics, and working with speakers and facilitators, you'll directly contribute to shaping the retreat experience. Plus, you'll have the chance to moderate panels, introduce speakers, and lead icebreakers, all of which will help you build confidence and hone your communication skills.
