NSO invites newly admitted scholars and a parent campus for on-campus orientation, meeting YSP program staff and students, and participating in a campus tour.

9th grade scholars engage their cohort peers across the state to learn more about their experience as Young Scholars. The staff from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion host workshops to expose scholars to their work on campus and in the community.

Leadership Development and Wellness Visit

During the Leadership Development and Wellness visit, 10th grade scholars participate in workshops related to their leadership development and social, emotional, academic, and digital wellness.

A Day in the Life of a Scholar

This program connects 11th grade scholars with YSP undergraduates for an on-campus student immersion experience.

Senior Commitment Ceremony

The Senior Commitment Ceremony brings together senior scholars, their parents, Office of Diversity and Inclusion staff, and school administrators to celebrate their achievements and commit their attendance to Ohio State for the fall semester.

* Young Scholars must be actively involved in YSP to attend Campus One-Day visits. All Young Scholars will receive a Calendar of Events at the beginning of the academic year with dates and travel information for each visit.
