- The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program
The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program is a six-week summer program designed to provide undergraduate students with a deeper appreciation of current issues and trends in international affairs, a greater understanding of career opportunities in international affairs, and the enhanced knowledge and skills to pursue such careers. The Program usually selects participants (known as “Rangel Scholars”) each year from universities throughout the United States. This program encourages the application of members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service, women, and those with financial need.

- Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP)
SHPEP is a FREE six-week transformative summer experience for college freshman and sophomore students interested in the health professions. The program offers opportunities to explore health careers, including dentistry, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, and public health. SHPEP scholars have a legacy of success: over 65% of scholars who apply to medical and dental school are accepted.

Communities across the nation continue to be impacted by disparities in health care access and health outcomes related to social determinants, implicit bias and inadequate access to translational research and culturally competent healthcare. Research experience and training for students from communities affected by health and healthcare disparities are critical to improving workforce diversity and unlocking collaborative solutions to these complex problems.
ASPIRE especially encourages applications from:
- Students from groups historically excluded in medicine and biomedical sciences: African-American or Black, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander
- Students with disabilities, defined as those with a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities
- Students from economically and/or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds
- First generation college students
- Queer, LGBTQIA, Transgender/Gender Non-Conforming

- JRH Consultants Business Administration Internship OHIO
JRH Consultants is a leading provider of enterprise systems management, solutions engineering, applications development and cybersecurity for The Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and other federal and civilian agencies and commercial customers.
We are seeking a motivated student or recent graduate looking to obtain work experience with an established IT systems management organization. The intern will participate in day-to-day operations and will be assigned projects to one or several support including general office administration, web management, IT support or marketing.
What you'll get to do:
- Research federal agencies and commercial businesses to identify new leads and potential new markets
- Assist with marketing campaigns and website updates
- Perform general administrative support with tasks and projects
- Plan, schedule and arrange virtual office events for small to larger groups
- Assist with maintaining electronic documentation in accordance with JRH's document retention policy
- Provide support to staff administrative needs
- Manage to schedule for company meetings, interviews, and events
- Maintain consistent communication and assist where needed cross-departmentally
- Attend virtual conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing or other related major (or recent graduate). Intern must possess ability to work independently, meet deadlines, uphold confidentiality, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent oral and written communication skills and eagerness to learn.
