This nationally acclaimed symposium brings together students, community and higher education professionals to discuss best practices, policies, research, program models and community collaboration when supporting post-secondary parenting students and their families. The focus is on how to empower this unique college population while assisting them with overcoming barriers that may keep them from graduating.
The National Student Parent Support Symposium (SPSS) will be on hiatus and not hosted in Spring 2025. The ACCESS team is utilizing this time to reorganize and strategize the most economical and effective way to meet the informational needs and better serve SPSS participants. To continue the important information sharing and networking, we will continue fostering meaningful conversations surrounding best practices for supporting post-secondary parenting students and their families during the 2024-2025 academic year through our virtual Community Chats. For more information regarding upcoming chat topics and how to be a presenter, please visit our Community Chats page.
