ODI staffer awarded UnidosUS grant

ODI is proud to share that Johana Coronado, a Program Specialist for ODI's Latine Student Success (LSS), has been awarded a grant from UnidosUS to deliver the Avanzando Through College Leadership Program.  This grant provides a curriculum foundation for students who want to build their college success and leadership skills in a learning community that uplifts Latine cultures, experiences and perspectives.

he Office of Diversity and Inclusion is proud to announce that Robert Decatur, director of the Morrill Scholarship Program (MSP), has received The Ohio State University 2023 Presidential Staff Award. The Presidential Staff Award, a special distinction within the Distinguished Staff Award awarded to one recipient, recognizes one recipient who demonstrates university values, as well as a commitment to diversity, community engagement, affordable education, and access for all students.

ODI Scholar tackling food crisis selected as National Youth of the Year

A first-year Morrill Scholar with a lifelong passion for working to fight food insecurity issues was named the 2022 National Youth of the Year by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in late October.

Asha Haddox-Rossiter, a public management, leadership and policy major at the John Glenn School of Public Affairs, was recognized with the highest honor for Club teens at a gala event held at the Beverly Hills Hilton in Los Angeles.

ODI JLM Scholar Isaiah Wilson receives $25,000 Remarkable Future Scholarship

n 2022, Chick-fil-A awarded 12,699 Team Members with scholarships. Twelve of those Team Members got an extra special surprise when they were invited to the Chick-fil-A Support Center to be part of a restaurant uniform test; Instead, Chick-fil-A surprised them with life-changing scholarships of $25,000 per person.
