Eligibility
- Identify as someone with lived experience in foster care, kinship care, or any out-of-home placement.
- Must enroll in at least six semester hours at The Ohio State University, Columbus campus.
FAN registration levels of participation
- W.I.N. Registration: W.I.N. stands for “What I Need.” This registration is for students who plan to informally engage with the Fostering Achievement Network on a drop-in, as-needed basis.
- Scarlet Registration: This registration is for students who plan to participate in the full Fostering Achievement Network.*
- Gray Registration: This registration is for students who plan to partially participate in the Fostering Achievement Network.*
*Students who complete the Scarlet or Gray registration and participate formally in FAN can apply for gift cards via the FAN Essentials Project. FAN Scholars can apply for up to $125 in gift cards from Amazon, Grub Hub, Lyft, Kroger, and Uber before June 30, 2025, through the FAN Essentials Project. Scholars must be actively engaged with the program to apply for gift cards.
