To Enhance Diversity and Mitigate Racial Bias in Medicine: An Academic Physician’s Mission to Incorporate Activism into his Clinical, Educational and Scholarly Work 

Dr. Quinn Capers, IV will discuss his career as an advocate for diversity in medicine as a strategy to reduce healthcare disparities. Barriers to achieving a diverse physician workforce will be reviewed, including recent legislative and judicial rulings that have the potential to restrict diversity initiatives.
