Targeted Student Leadership Initiatives

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion offers several initiatives to support student leadership skills and professional development.

JPMorgan Chase & Co.

JPMorgan Chase made history with the largest corporate donation in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion history in support of a pair of programs targeted at improving the academic success for students of color. The gift toward the Morrill Scholarship Program (MSP) and the Young Scholars Program (YSP) has meant expanded educational opportunities for students and access to a diverse pool of human talent for the corporate investment giant.

Dr. James L. Moore III Scholars

The Dr. James L. Moore (JLM) III Scholars Program is a student development initiative, focused on underrepresented transfer students from Columbus State Community College (CSCC).

OIA/ODI Critical Dialogue Series

The Office of International Affairs and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion have partnered to host a Critical Dialogue Series that brings together ten ODI students and ten international students to join in programming that will deepen student awareness and understanding of critical community/global issues.

Dr. William F. Pickard Scholars

The Dr. William F. Pickard Scholars Program develops student leaders with an interest in social, educational, political, communal and economic issues affecting African American communities.
