Michael Bustamante speaks at Columbus Latino Town Hall
Columbus City Council hosted a Latino Town Hall on October 13, 2020 where local organizations and community leaders discussed the challenges Latinx residents face and shared potential solutions. City Council also provided residents with updates on key city initiatives and programs. Michael Bustamante, Program Coordinator for ODI's Latinx Student Success, spoke at the town hall.
Being Anti-Racist in Vet Med: A Movement, Not Merely a Moment
Kenneth Burris is a third-year veterinary medical student at the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Born in the District of Columbia and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is a graduate of Tufts University, Biomedical Engineering Systems and Sociology (Social Inequalities and Social Change Concentration) a double major and a minor in Africana Studies. He is a graduate of Hampton University (HBCU), where he earned a Master of Medical Science degree.
