Angela Cauley, co-founder and CEO of Coalescence, Dawn Dickson, president and CEO of Flat Out of Heels, and Chacona Winters Johnson, vice president for Development and Alumni Affairs and president of the foundation at Wayne State University, all offered advice and words of wisdom to the nearly 40 student and community guests in attendance at the first annual “Colorful Conversations: But for Passion…” Luncheon.  The inaugural event took place at the Ohio Union on April 24th, 2014. For attendees, listening to the three conversationalists provided a wealth of knowledge on how to follow their passions, with words of advice that included following your heart, don’t worry about failing, and don’t let anyone tell you what you can’t do. The event, co-sponsored by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Central Ohio Chapter and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion’s Leadership Initiatives for Women of Color and the Office of Advancement, featured a panel moderated by MarLita Barlett.
