About Latinx Early Arrival Program

LSS grads with Mexican flag

The Latinx Early Arrival Program is a four-day program for incoming first-year Latinx students. The program helps to strengthen many important aspects vital to uniting the Latinx community. Through community, departmental, and faculty partnerships, students have the opportunity to network with the Latinx community both within The Ohio State University and within the Columbus area. Latinx faculty and current students provide a source of mentorship and support as well as information on opportunities of how to be involved on campus and how to navigate their transition to Ohio State. The program is intended to help students begin to find a sense of belonging at Ohio State and equips them with knowledge of campus resources necessary for their academic and personal success!

This year's Latinx Early Arrival Program will take place on August 14 -17, 2018. Registration for this program is limited. The deadline for applications was June 29, 2018.
