Cardinal Health Intership

LASER Undergraduate Mentors will be selected each year to work alongside Human Resource and STEM professionals at Cardinal Health. The program is the result of years of collaboration on Latinx Role Models Day and a way of materializing the goals of LASER into real-world employment.

Meet LASER's Cardinal Health Interns

Besides LASER's two signature events, LRMD and SÕL-CON, every year LASER hosts various programming events.

Programming events are meant to create a safe space for local Spanish-speaking families to familiarize themselves with The Ohio State University and to learn about what the university is doing to break down barriers to higher education. These events include:

  • FAFSA Nights (paying for college, applying for federal student aid)

  • DACA Workshops (pathways to college, legal rights)

  • College Credit Plus Workshops (how to earn college credit in high school)

  • Pan Dulce Noches (desserts, admissions info, campus tours)

  • Dia de Los Muertos (facepainting, campus pilgrimage, “Coco” screening)
