Tutoring and Study Skills

The Tutoring and Study Skills Program provides free academic support services for ODI Scholars at The Ohio State University. The office focuses on advanced study skills development, tutorial services, and supplemental instruction. Primary program goals include:

  • Personalizing academic support services
  • Helping students identify areas of academic concern
  • Providing tools and resources to overcome perceived obstacles to academic success
  • Reinforcing productive learning strategies and introducing new ones
  • Providing rewarding and flexible employment opportunities for university students

  • One on one and small group tutoring
  • Supplemental Instruction (SI)
  • Study skills resources and workshops 
  • Study and review materials
