Da’Quan Knuckles

On January 15, 2015, Da’Quan Knuckles received the “Youth: Capturing the Vision of Dr. King Award” during the 30th Annual Commemorative Celebration sponsored by the Ohio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission. The theme of this year’s celebration was “Give Us the Ballot: A Hope for Change” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The recipient must be under 21 years of age, exemplify leadership, nonviolence and a commitment to excellence and interracial cooperation. Da’Quan is a Scholar in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion Campus Change Program. He began his academic experience at OSU Lima and made a transition to the OSU Columbus Campus in Fall Semester 2014.
