Dr. Darrell Gray II

Darrell Gray, II, MD, MPH is a physician at The Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center and Comprehensive Cancer Center where he serves as the Director of Community Engagement and Equity in Digestive Health and Deputy Director of the Center for Cancer Health Equity, respectively.

Dr. Gray is a nationally-recognized key opinion leader in addressing barriers to health equity. His work leverages meaningful partnerships across public and private sectors to address health disparities among the diverse communities they serve. He has received numerous local and national honors for his work including induction into classes of Columbus Business First Forty Under 40 and the National Minority Quality Forum 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health as well as being awarded of the 2019 State of Ohio Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Health Equity and Awareness Award.

Dr. Gray is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and graduate of Morehouse College and Howard University College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center, Gastroenterology fellowship at Washington University, and public health training at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
