Autumn 2019 ODI Graduation Recognition Ceremony

ODI celebrates its Autumn 2019 graduates

Scholars, family and friends and Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) staff members gathered Tuesday evening for a graduation recognition ceremony in Hale Hall. During the ceremony, 20 graduates-to-be received special ODI stoles to wear during the university's official commencement ceremonies on Sunday. December 15, 2019.

Dr. James Moore, vice-provost for ODI and the university's chief diversity officer, urged the graduates to pay forward to future generations as they move through their lives. “Embedded deep within every Buckeye is the importance of paying forward,” he said. “Paying forward means helping others who came after you, paying forward means sharing your knowledge, connections and fortune.”
