ACCESS featured in Campus Activities Programming magazine
Dr. Paula Smith and Jessica Parent, of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion's ACCESS Collaborative Program, have published a story in the April 2014 issue of Campus Activities Programming, a national higher education magazine.
The ACCESS Collaborative Program is an academic and social support program assisting low-income, single parent students who are pursuing a college education at The Ohio State University. The article highlights the challenges and barriers those students can face while pursuing their degree: lack of child care, adequate housing and other resources, and strong support systems. Started in 1989, ACCESS Collaborative Program works to provide programming that helps students overcome these barriers and receive their degrees.
