2023 ODI Hall of Fame Award Nominations

Nominees should have demonstrated a strong past or present connection with the university, including but not limited to being an alumnus of The Ohio State University.

Nominees should exemplify ODI's core values of inclusive excellence, collaboration, respect and civility, leadership and partnerships, and promoting social and economic justice and equity.

In addition, nominees should have demonstrated two or more of the following criteria:

• Broken historical barriers as pioneers in their given field.

• Recognized as a transformative figure in the community and/or the private or public sector.

• Displays personal courageousness or altruism so remarkable as to set the person apart from others across the country.

• Exhibits innovative and insightful leadership that challenges major societal inequities through avenues such as strategic decision-making, allocation of resources, and establishment of priorities.

• Makes a significant and sustained contribution in advancing diversity and inclusion through nationally or internationally recognized policies, procedures, and/or programs.

• Implements effective and highly recognized strategies that address barriers that often exclude or disadvantage historically underrepresented groups.

• Recognized as a significant change agent in promoting important humanitarian causes and championing human rights in the private, non-profit and/or public sector.​
