Hillary Clinton on Campus

On Monday, October 10th, just one day after the second presidential debate, crowds of people flocked to the South Oval where they waited patiently for hours to watch Hillary Clinton speak. With the Secret Service estimating approximately 18,000 people watching (including from outside the area as well), her stop at Ohio State to rally Ohio residents to vote has drawn the biggest crowd of her campaign. Learning and Leadership through MSP

As a Morrill Scholar, I have been able to take both ESHESA 2570: Organizational Leadership as well as ESHESA 2577 Crossing Identity Boundaries: A Journey towards Intercultural Leadership. Last year in ESHESA 2570, I was able to learn about my own style of leadership and how it worked with other styles of leadership. Read more on Learning and Leadership through MSP.


An Evening with Nyle DiMarco

On October 17th, I was lucky enough to attend “An Evening with Nyle DiMarco.” If you haven’t heard of Nyle DiMarco, he’s an up-and-coming celebrity, winner of both America’s Next Top Model (ANTM) and Dancing with the Stars. During the event, he talked about how he had never really considered modeling until ANTM contacted him via Instagram. He honestly thought it was a scam, but it ended up being the opportunity that changed his life. Read more on An Evening with Nyle DiMarco.

America Forward Transforming Local Impact Into National Change

Learn about America Forward, a nonpartisan initiative that seeks to break down barriers between all people and opportunities in America. Here at Ohio State and other communities we are trying to promote the Today’s Student Campaign. Join the Morrill Scholars Buckeyethon Team!

Buckeyethon's goal is to raise funds to help Nationwide Children's Hospital treat every child despite their ability to pay. It is the largest student-run philanthropy organization in the state of Ohio. Buckeyethon's 24-hour Dance Marathon is coming up next February and you can represent the Morrill Scholars at this great event! Read more on the MSP Buckeyethon team.
