The Morrill Scholars Program (MSP) is the largest scholarship program of its kind, rewarding over 300 scholarships to high school seniors each year. The scholarship is awarded to students who show commitment to both academics and diversity by excelling in the classroom and making a positive impact in their communities. Morrill Scholars are selected because they have shown their advocacy for equity and access by contributing to those around them.

From Our Morrill Scholars

Aishwarya Pillai, MSP

“Ohio State University is the ideal place for me to focus on the significance of diversity and to participate in unique opportunities in order to further raise global awareness both in the classroom and in the community. It is a place in which I can be original in my ideas and in my passions; a place where I can go by my real name and uncover my true identity.”

Andrea Castillo-Beroes, MSP

“Diversity and understanding the importance of it is something in this day and age that is crucial to understanding the world around us. Lacking that knowledge weakens the ability to create unique relationships with the people and world around us.”
